Between today and November strike series in Italy

Rome, Italy - Unrest of ground and flight staff

(WAPA) - The Italian civil aviation sector is among the most hit in these days by unrest and union protests. Shortly will begin, at 12:00am, lasting until 4:00pm, the strike of the flight controllers of ENAV, the Italian flight assistance society, adhering to to the UGL union. The same ENAV lets know however that the workers who belong to this union are not more than 3 percent of the total.

Also today down their tools the flight personnel of Alitalia of the Cisal-Assovolo union, from 10:00am alle 6:00pm. And particularly heavy will be the situation at the airports in Lombardy of Linate and Malpensa, due to the general strike summoned for the air transportation for the entire region from 10:00am to 2:00pm.

Also the coming month loomes turbulent. Tuesday, November 6th, will abstain from work the pilots of Alitalia united in the Unione Piloti, same from 10:00am to 2:00pm, in contemporary to the workers of Alitalia Express, in strike as well in the same hours. At last, Friday, November 9th, will be the turn for the pilots of Eurofly to protest, charter-airline of the Meridiana group, adhering to ANPAC, the national association of commercial aviation pilots, with a strike of four hours, from 12:00am to 4:00pm.
