The last stop before Goma would be Bukavu (BKY), a one hour flight from Kisangani. The airplane approached Bukavu in severe weather. Unconfirmed reports indicate ZS-OLD was the airplane involved in the accident. The other Beech 1900 used by Air Serv is 5Y-BSP.
