Rome, Italy - For eight hours in air field
(WAPA) - "A general strike is fixed for next Friday, on October 17, by public and private categories in the transports field.
In particular;
Air transport
eight hours for next Friday from 10am to 6pm:
- Staff: on all flights with taking off times included between 10am to 6pm;
- Ground shift workers: eight hours from 10am to 6pm;
- Ground normal staff: all shift.
Maritime transport
From 8am to 4pm of next Friday
Railway sector
All day for workers of fixed apparatus and offices
- Remaining personnel, eight hours from 9:01am to 5pm of next Friday
Local transport field
24 hours of strike divided by territory
- the strike in Rome, where the national protest will take place, will begin from 8:30am to 4:30pm.
Further details will be communicated by the single societies' representations. The minimal essential services, during the strike, will be ensured, according to the law 146/90 and successive changes 83/2000". (Avionews)
