Alitalia: "A realistic, hard and complex plan"
Rome, Italy - The statements of the AZ heads during the first convention in Fiumicino
(WAPA) - "A realistic, hard and complex plan", Alitalia CEO, Rocco Sabelli, said during the first convention of the new Alitalia in Fiumicino.
Mr Sabelli remarked that the management is "Free from pressures and influences. Now it is necessary to increase revenues and to stop the cost cut. 2009 is the turning-point year and we can make a first balance in July".
According to Mr Sabelli, it would seem on the increase the new Alitalia's number of passengers and so the load factor that now is equal to 59% (from 43%). The regularity and punctuality rates are 99,5% and about 70%, respectively.
President, Roberto Colaninno, introduced the future prospectives of the airline and assured to have not any intention of sale. (Avionews)
