"From the Moon to the Earth", the exhibition at BergamoScienza from October 4-18

(WAPA) - "BergamoScienza, to celebrate 40 years from Apollo 11 mission, hosts the exhibition entitled 'From the Moon to the Earth', organized at the 'Caffi' Natural Sciences Museum in Piazza Cittadella in Bergamo.
It has been created by Eugenio Sorrentino, aerospace and scientific journalist, and presents a series of significant objects, in the common life, describing the sectors that have benefited the great progress from applied research to space missions culminated with the man on the Moon.
The event has been promoted in collaboration with ASI (Italian Space Agency), ESA (European Space Agency), CIRA (Italian Aerospace Research Center), NASA, Bergamo's Natural Science Museum, and with the patronage of the UGAI (Italian Aerospace journalists) and by Rotary Club Dalmine Centenario.
Objects and material exposed have been put at disposal by a series of societies that produce, market, or used them in the activities.
The exhibition, among the other, presents the models of Saturn V rocket and plastic with the reconstruction of the base into the Sea of Tranquility, site of the Apollo 11 mission's landing, with the 'Aquila' lunar module".
