Alitalia: workers' assemblies scheduled for today and tomorrow revoked

Rome, Italy - Flights towards regularity

(WAPA) - "The situation of Alitalia and AirOne flights is going back to regularity after the heavy problems caused yesterday by a personnel assembly which became a non scheduled protest that lasted more than the allowed time.

Passengers involved in yesterday's cancellations have been rearranged on backup flights, as those involved in this morning's missing links due to operational needs. Restoring normal operations caused further delays.

For passengers involved in Alitalia's inefficiencies, furthermore, it will be possible to book new flights without penalties until November 19.

As announced yesterday evening, trade unions' assemblies scheduled for today and tomorrow have been revoked.

Alitalia apologizes again with passengers for the problems they had to face, which were caused by the workers' protest". (Avionews)
