Alitalia, trade unions announce strike for December 9
Rome, Italy - "The minister's decision is against the right to protest"
(WAPA) - A joint press release by the Italian trade unions FIT-CISL, UIL Transport, UGL Transport and ANPAV criticized Transports and Infrastructure Minister Matteoli's decision to delay the strike of Alitalia-CAI personnel scheduled on November 25. The unions believe that "The reasons for this decision are instrumental and against the right to protest, which is guaranteed by the constitution within its rules. So, as the reasons that caused the protest are still existing, the unions announce a new strike on December 9, which will be performed in the same ways as the delayed one: 4 ours from 10 am to 2 pm".
