Old Alitalia: only one offer to purchase AMS
Rome, Italy - Fantozzi: "The binding offer is acceptable"
(WAPA) - There would be only Maurizzio Tucci, former Finmeccanica manager, participating in the tender to purchase AMS (Alitalia Maintenance Systems), 60% controlled by the old Alitalia (which is now in extraordinary administration) and 40% by Lufthansa.
"For AMS there is one binding offer which can be accepted because it respects the value of the company -commissioner Augusto Fantozzi told 'Il Sole 24 Ore'- that is € 4 million for the entire AMS, and € 2.4 million for Alitalia's 60% share".
Fantozzi then explained that, as it has already happened with Atitech, Finmeccanica and Alitalia-CAI will also take part in the acquisition. (Avionews)
