Alitalia: strike of some categories of air transport fixed for today
Rome, Italy - Limited hardships for passengers
(WAPA) - The strike by Alitalia's flight assistants fixed for today has been cancelled following the agreement reached between airline and unions.
The other protests by some categories of air transport planned for the same day, shoudn't cause particular hardships for passengers.
The airline has limited the number of flights scheduled for the time slot from the protest and has contacted the passengers interested from changes and offered accommodation on alternative links for this day.
The modifications don't hit the intercontinental flights, predicted in a regular manner.
Alitalia at Rome-Fiumicino and Milan-Linate airports has organized desk for information to provide support to passengers, on the case of need.
For all passengers that have a confirmed reservation and ticket issued on cancelled flights due to the strike by unions, it's possible a refund or reservation change or itinerary without penal to fly within the validity date of the ticket, or by three months from original date of the first flight.
