Indonesia airports are closed because of the fires
Jakarta, Indonesia - It is several days the flames in the forests are causing the cancellation of many flights
(WAPA) - The Indonesian authorities have been forced yesterday to close several airports because of the fires burning in the forests. The economical damage risks to be important and the moment is not one of the best as many Muslim Indonesian people living abroad are returning home to celebrate the end of Ramadan. The visibility is lower than 100 meters and there are no signs the situation could improve. "It is no possible to fly at the moment -states Sultan Thaha airport's director- The visibility is terribly limited. The minimum should be 1,800 to 2,000 metres". (Avionews)
