A smoke in the cockpit has persuaded the captain of a B-747/400 airplane of the German Lufthansa with 363 people on board (345 passengers and 18 crewmembers) to divert from the scheduled route for a safe landing on the Terranova-Gander airport, in Canada. The aircraft, took off from Frankfurt, was bound for Orlando, Florida (Usa). Joerg Waber , the airline's spokesperson, unveiled it this morning. He specified that the smoke origin has not been defined yet, and that a carrier's technical staff is reaching the airport for a specific inquiry.
