Java: AS-365N3 Dauphin helicopter crashes: 8 victims
Jakarta, Indonesia - The aircraft was in monitoring mission of a volcano on the Dieng plateau
All dead eight people on the AS-365 N3 Dauphin helicopter, registration HR-3602, crashed yesterday afternoon near the city of Temanggung, in the central area of the Java isle, in Indonesia. The aircraft, usually used for Sar (Search and Rescue) tasks, was in flight to control one of the volcanoes of the Dieng plateau, reawaken a few hours ago. According to the local press the causes are unknown yet that have brought the aircraft to crash on the cliffs of the Temanggung coast. The fact has been reported by a spokesperson of the Social affairs ministry of the Isle's Government.
