Portugal: airplane makes emergency landing on a beach and kills two people -VIDEO

Lisbon, Portugal - It happened yesterday near the capital. An adult and an eight-year old girl died

A C-152 airplane of the Portuguese Aero club of Torres Vedras performed yesterday an emergency landing on the crowded beach of São João da Caparica, next Lisbon, hitting and killing a fifty-six year old man and a girl of eight. On board of the Cessna aircraft with registration CS-AVA there were an instructor of a local school and a student pilot, who were questioned by local authorities that are investigating the accident. According to the commander of the maritime police of Lisbon it seems that the pilot had an engine failure before being compelled to the emergency landing. When the many sunbathers realized what was going to happen they tried to run away, but unfortunately not all of them could do it. Below, a video with some images of what happened:
