Airplanes. Fassina on Alitalia: "Worried from information lack on negotiation with Lufthansa"

Rome, Italy - "And about Delrio's efforts? Why so much hurry in the sale?"

The Italian Parliamentary member Stefano Fassina (SI-SEL) diffused the following declaration yesterday morning on social network about the Alitalia's situation: "We are very worried on Alitalia: from a side for the lack of official information around negotiation with Lufthansa; from the other one for acceleration of the transfer announced by Calenda and Delrio ministers. We would understand if we are in front of a drastic redrafting of Alitalia that would become a kind of regional joint of Lufthansa with the cut of almost half of employees, with the transfer of handling, ICT, of the main administrative and maintenance functions". The note continues: "We have presented long lost a parliamentary act to the Government but until now no answer. And the efforts by Minister Delrio on the protection of Alitalia unity? Why much hurry in the sale of the Italian carrier, despite good results reached in the last months? There are reasons of election campaign? We ask to the Government to answer with the maximum urgency to the Parliament. It would be unjustifiable and very serious a blitz during the Christmas period for the dismemberment and the transfer of Alitalia without to have listened before the Parliament".
