It's Chinese and flies the greatest modern amphibious airplane in the world -VIDEO and SHEET

Zhuhau, China - Already at least 17 orders received by AVIC. The maiden flight made a few days ago

It's Chinese, its name is AG-600 "Kunlong" and made its maiden flight lasted a hour last December 23 in Zhuhai, South of China, according to "Xinhua", the Chinese national agency, reported it. The aircraft has military applications being designed to meet maritime Search and Recue missions, and firefighting: in fact it is able to collect 12 tons of water in only 20 seconds, and to transport 50 people with an endurance in flight of 12 hours. It has a wingspan of 38,8 m and is powered by 4 turbojet engines. The "Kunlong" is considered the greatest amphibious airplane in production in the world, but actually it deals with Hughes H-4 Hercules, the seaplane for transport designed and built by a company of the American eccentric multimillionaire Howard Hughes in the '40s. Its 97.5m of wingspan (67m as length) represent a record never matched. It has been also the greatest airplane never built until arrival by AN-225. It can embark three crewmembers and made its first and only flight in November '47, but it never in service and model in production too. On the contrary, the AG-600 (for design and realization, 98% of components included, entirely Chinese) can rely on a portfolio of at least 17 orders already received by AVIC (Aviation Industry Corporation of China) manufacturer. Below, the maiden flight at the end of December:
