The US national security Department has suspended ban to transport personal electronic objects also towards departing passengers from the "Hamad International Airport" in Doha, on board of the flights with stop in US territory. It is the second suspension of the measure wanted by Trump President, after that one on the links Abu-Dhabi-Usa a few days ago. As already happened for Etihad, the only to connect the two Nations with direct flights, to enjoy mainly of the revocation this time is Qatar Airways (that reaches 10 destinations in the USA), after that American officials inspected the security measures in full operation at its modern hub in Qatar. The carrier recently announced its intention to make an initial investment of up to 4.75 per cent in its oneworld partner American Airlines (AA), crediting the airline’s fundamentals, while intending to build a passive position within the company. The carrier has long considered AA as a good alliance partner, and looks forward to continuing this relationship. Qatar's airline, which celebrates 10 years of service to the US, will launch new flights to San Francisco in 2018, as part of its continuing expansion within the US, that represents only one aspect of its global growth plans, which include also new routes, the carrier said it in a note.
