"2018 FAI Young Artists Contest": winners revealed
With the theme "Flying in the Future"; three age categories
The FAI has revealed the winners of the "Young Artist Contest 2018". The talented youngsters entering the competition were required to interpret the theme ‘Flying in the Future’.
Young artists between the age of 6-17 from 16 FAI member countries took part in the annual competition, entering into one of three age categories: Junior (6-9 years old); Intermediate (10-13); and Senior (14-17).
This year, the competition saw entries from 16 countries (Switzerland, Belarus, China, Finland, Russia, USA, Bulgaria, India, Czech Republic, Turkey, Poland, Japan, Hong Kong, Lithuania, United Kingdom and France).
The 2018 winners, each of whom has been award with FAI Young Artists medals and diplomas, were Aryav Sheth, USA (Junior), Molly Wu, USA (Intermediate) and Ge Shi, CHN (Senior).
The" FAI Young Artists Contest" has been organised every year since 1986. It is an international art contest with a theme of air sports for youngsters between the ages of 6 and 17.
