China: a US Navy plane flying over the South China Sea has been removed
P-8A Poseidon was flying over the Spratly archipelago
A Boeing P-8A Poseidon maritime patrol aircraft of the US Navy was removed from the airspace above the Spratly islands by the Chinese authorities. To report it is "CNN" that had journalists on board the aircraft which took off from the Air Base in Okinawa, who reported hearing six times the exact same message sent from China in which they were asked to "leave immediately and stay away in order to avoid any possible misunderstanding".
News that demonstrates once again how much Beijing considers "air" space in the South China Sea, and how it continues to have an aggressive attitude towards those who pass through that vast portion of the ocean. 3.6 million square kilometers fundamental for China, both because a third of the global naval trade goes through that stretch, and because of the very rich number of natural and animal resources that are necessary for the country's supply.
