Norwegian: aircraft tail dedicated to the Italian Marco Polo
It appears on B-737 MAX 8 aircraft, LN BKD registration
Norwegian announces that the aircraft dedicated to Marco Polo is already flying in the European skies. The image of the Venetian writer, ambassador and traveller is on a B-737 MAX 8 airplane, Norwegian registration LN BKD. The new aircraft was delivered a few days ago at the Boeing headquarters in Seattle and the image of Marco Polo was positioned on both sides of the tail of the airplane in the Norwegian laboratories at the Oslo airport. Currently, the plane is operating on routes to and from the Oslo airport.
He is one of the three famous Italian celebrities to whom the carrier has paid tribute so far on their planes: the aircraft dedicated to Cristoforo Colombo flies in the skies since 2015 and the one dedicated to the Sardinian (from Nuoro) writer Grazia Deledda will also take flight from the early months of 2019.
