Lufthansa: lawsuit against a passenger that uses the airports to pay less for the plane
Objective to stop this practice
The German airline Lufthansa has sued a passenger who did not take the last flight scheduled in his ticket taking advantage of the airport to get off the airport spending less, but causing damage to the airport forced to have an empty seat (but booked). A "trick" widely used and for which there are websites that allow you to analyze the different offers and rates to be able to take cheaper connections by taking advantage of airport flights, which are cheaper than direct. The only "faults" of this mechanism reside in the fact that those who do not use the last connecting part are identified as absent from boarding, and moreover it is not possible to carry the baggage in the hold but only the one by hand. The first appeal was dismissed by Lufthansa's case, but the Frankfurt Group appealed against the decision in an attempt to try and stop this practice by also targeting websites that offer the possibility of comparing rates.
