"MAKS 2019". Russian debut of the E-195E2 aircraft
The airplane is at the static display - DATA SHEET
The newest short-haul aircraft Embraer E-195-E2 presented for the first time to the general public in Russia during the "International Aviation and Space Salon" ("MAKS 2019", from August 27 to September 1st, see AVIONEWS). The airplane is demonstrated at the static display.
Arrived in Zhukovsky, Moscow Region, after a demonstration tour of China, Japan and other countries of the Asia-Pacific region, the airliner is painted in Tech Lion, which symbolizes the aircraft's manufacturability and innovativeness; this livery continues the earlier tradition of using the theme of predatory animals (tigers, sharks and eagles), reflecting the positioning of the new Embraer family of planes as “profit hunters”.
The E-195 E2 can accommodate 120 to 146 seats in the cabin, depending on the configuration chosen by the carrier.
In April the model received type certification simultaneously from three major world regulatory authorities: ANAC (the Brazilian Civil Aviation Agency), the FAA (US Federal Aviation Administration) and EASA (European Aviation Safety Agency). The airplane will enter service with Brazil’s Azul Linhas Aéreas Brasileiras SA in the second half of 2019.
The technical data sheet of the airplane is attached to this AVIONEWS.
