Italy protagonist in the search for unmanned aircraft
A project in partnership with France and Romania
Italy, in partnership with France and Romania, will have a prominent place in the research field for unmanned aircraft. It is a project that is part of another twelve within the Permanent Structured Cooperation (Pesco), an initiative of the European Union for Security and common Defense aimed at the structural integration of the armed forces of 25 of the 28 Member States.
Italy will participate in four of the thirteen new initiatives adopted starting yesterday during a confrontation on military cooperation held in Brussels by the Defense Ministers of the countries of the European Union.
Currently there are 47 number of plans currently in existence: five of these concern training in Cybersecurity and Defense, others aim to strengthen the European Union's collaborative actions and the development of maritime, air and space capabilities. The list of criteria according to which the EU must renew its transport platform is decided by NATO.
