Latina, Italy - Italian Minister Matteoli declared: "Viterbo was chosen for political reasons"

This morning was held the AN (Alleanza Nazionale) provincial congress during which Italian minister for infrastructures and transports declared his intention to open a commercial airport in Latina: "Also Latina might have an important airport, even if not equal to the one of Viterbo". The processes should be already started and it would be enough to extend the runway for 300 meters to grant the possibility...
