Joon closure. Financial analysts support the Smith's decision

From the next days connections will be operated by Air France aircraft

The decision taken by the CEO of the Air France-KLM Group Benjamin Smith to close the airline Joon and reinstate it in Air France was viewed positively by the financial analysts of the world's leading investment institutions. The reason is due to the fact that the high number of brands linked to the French carrier had lowered the economic capacity of the same, forcing managers to have to divide the investments to finance companies potentially "rivals" since they could have stolen customers. If the Joon experiment had gone as the former CEO Jean-Marc Janaillac would have hoped, the low-cost fares and services offered on board would have caused potential problems for Air France especially on the most profitable long-haul routes.

Only small details remain to be resolved, such as the signing of a new contract for flight attendants who will be transferred to Air France, who will have to receive an increase in their salary in order to match that of their colleagues in the main French company. The negotiations are going on so tightly that it will be possible to close the Joon chapter as soon as possible, even if from the next few days the connections that were to be operated with the subsidiary will be carried out with Air France aircraft, which will definitively its end.
