A man arrested for the death of Emiliano Sala
He is accused of culpable homicide
A 64-year-old man was arrested by Dorset police due to investigations on the death of footballer Emiliano Sala. "BBC" reports it. The authorities have indicated that he is suspected of involuntary manslaughter, although it is not clear what role he would have had in the tragedy. The man was subsequently released because he decided to collaborate but remains under investigation.
On 21 January the striker was flying with pilot David Ibbotson from Nantes to Cardiff to join his new team. Piper plane they were travelling on sank in the English Channel. The incident sparked much controversy because of the choice of a small Piper to make a not short journey, at night and in difficult weather conditions. Furthermore the pilot would not have had the commercial license.
