Hong Kong, protests continue: over 200 flights cancelled
Governor Carrie Lam: risk of city destruction - VIDEO
Fire protests and clashes continue in Hong Kong to demand more democracy with protesters who chant the slogan "Free Hong Kong" by the supporter of the independence of the city, now in prison Edward Leung.
On August 5, the situation is frightening to the point that Governor Carrie Lam said in a press conference today: "We risk the destruction of the city. This is against the national sovereignty of the country".
Thousands of people have joined the protest summoned on the internet by workers in some twenty sectors that blocked eight subway lines, including the direct line to the airport and the cancellation of over 200 flights: this has caused discomfort for many thousands of passengers and, given the difficulties in transport, a spokesman for the treasury has invited companies to be lenient in the event of delays: "For employees who are unable to arrive on time due to traffic conditions and services public transport, employers should show the necessary understanding due to the circumstances".
