Attacks with drone planes bring down Saudi Arabia

Oil plants in Aramco are hit with a jump in record prices

Drone aircraft attacks by Houthi in Aramco at Saudi Arabia to oil plants could have devastating repercussions on the petrol market with an unprecedented jump in prices due to the loss of production of 5.7 million barrels for day and it has awakened the specter of dramatic escalation in the Middle East. United States, before the armed group claimed the attacks, initially accused Iran of being responsible, but the Islamic Republic rejected the charges and even Iraq denied any kind of correlation. Trump had already announced in July that USA is ready to react in case Tehran will offend Saudi Arabia (see AVIONEWS).

Iranian Foreign Minister spokesman Abbas Mousavi said: "sterile and indiscriminate accusations by Americans are incomprehensible and senseless, useful only to prepare the ground for a series of hostile measures in the future. The US has adopted a 'maximum pressure' policy, which has turned into a policy of 'maximum deceptions' following their failures”.
