Russia-India joint military exercise in December
For "Indra-2019" more than 40 Russian aircraft will be involved - VIDEO
On the occasion of the joint military operation between Russia and India called "Indra-2019", which will take place in December at one of the airports of the Indian armed forces, Moscow will employ more than 40 aircraft including: 5 fighter planes, about 20 aircraft from military transport and more than five helicopters to support ground troops and naval forces. At least 300 Russian soldiers are expected to participate.
"Indra" is a training project that takes place every two years since 2003 and aims to strengthen cooperation between Russian and Indian military forces with air defense, anti-submarine exercises, operations against counterfeiting, terrorism and drug trafficking.
