Boeing: will be new B-777X aircraft test during the week?

Boeing could make the first flight test of a new 777X family aircraft later this week. Designed to carry around 406 people it could enter the market by 2021. The B-777X is powered by GE9X engines, new composite wings, a wider fuselage and other improvements, would guarantee 10% lower fuel consumption and emissions. This new version was launched in November 2013 with two variants: B-777/8X with 384 seats and a range of 16,170 km and B-777/9X with 426 seats and a range of 13,500 km.
The industry will say goodbye to the 777 version currently in service shortly to convert production with the X variant except for that of the B-777F cargo, based on the B-777/ 200LR.
