Coronavirus: some carriers suspend flights to/from China

United Airlines and British Airways set the stop

Following the Chinese coronavirus emergency, British Airways has suspended all direct connections to mainland China. The carrier also stopped making reservations on its site until March following the Foreign Office's provisions, which urged that it be limited to "essential travel only". United Airlines has also decided to stop some connections to Beijing, Hong Kong and Shanghai.

Tonight the epidemic has already passed the spread of SARS in 2003 with 5974 confirmed cases, 9239 suspects and 132 deaths. The first US and Japanese planes have left to evacuate foreign citizens stranded in Wuhan. First contagion in the United Arab Emirates confirmed.
