Varadi (Wizz Air Ceo): "Travelling by plane is safer than supermarkets"

Manager said he was satisfied about sanitation standards

Risk of coronavirus infection scares everyone and in any part of the world, but which places are safer than others? Jozsef Varadi, CEO of low-cost airline Wizz Air, is certain: flying is less dangerous than going to supermarket. These words were spoken today, on Wednesday September 16, 2020, during a televised debate by the "Cnbc" broadcaster. Varadi recalled that there was no case of covid-19 infection after any trip by plane, while buying foods and drinks would be less safe. CEO of the Hungarian company also highlighted its young fleet of aircraft and the filtration systems that guarantee the quality of air you breathe.

Varadi compared this same system to an "intensive care unit in a hospital"; in the course of the discussion on TV, then, there were also positive words regarding sanitation standards of international airports, consequently governments were asked not to impose other travel bans or quarantines. Last July the bonus awarded to the administrator, just under half a million pounds, caused much discussion.
