Iberia to schedule 70 flights per week to US
During Winter season
The US Government has announced that on 8 November the country’s airports will be open to holiday travellers from the European Union.
In the US and other markets where Covid restrictions are being lifted, Iberia is planning a major comeback, with 70 return flights per week from Spain to the US destinations it has been serving on a reduced basis throughout the pandemic.
It will offer 10 weekly flights to New York and Miami, five to Chicago, and three to Boston and to Los Angeles. In addition, the Spanish airline will operate four weekly flights to Puerto Rico, where it has a JBA with American Airlines, British Airways. and Finnair.
Thanks to code-sharing arrangements with local carriers, Iberia passengers can book to an additional 117 US cities. A few days ago the airline added 37 destinations on the West Coast, under agreements with Alaska Airlines and Level.
