Russian military helicopters at "Egypt Defence Expo"
The event will be held in Cairo from November 29 to December 2

At the "Egypt Defence Expo" ("Edex"), which will be held from November 29 to December 2 in Cairo, in Egypt, Russia will show two of its warfare aircraft developed by Russian Helicopters. These are the Kamov Ka-52 Alligator fighter aircraft and the Mi-35P, and the Mil Mi-17V-5 military transport rotary-wing model will also be exhibited.
At "Edex 2021" the Russian manufacturer announced that customized solutions related to maintenance and training services will also be made available to stakeholders. In fact, countries in the Middle East and North Africa operate some of the world's largest fleets of Russian-made helicopters. According to Russian ministerial sources, over 500 Soviet military aircraft are now operational in the region.
At the show, Russia will also present numerous long-range, surface-to-air, medium-range anti-aircraft missile systems, as well as airspace control radar stations. On the civilian side there will be radars, anti-drone systems and instrumentation for air traffic control and safe operation of airports.
