Ukrainian conflict: Kiev shoots down Russian plane
Ukrainian soldiers in jubilation in Kharkiv, but raids will continue - VIDEO

A unit of the National Guard of Ukraine, a component of the army, shot down a Sukhoi Su-25 fighter plane from Russia in recent hours. The operation was conducted near the city of Kharkiv using surface-to-air missiles. This is a sign that Kiev's anti-aircraft defense systems are not completely out of action.
It was sais by the head of the Kharkiv regional state administration, Oleh Synegubov, on his own "Telegram" channel, later picked up by Ukrainian media. The on-line newspaper "Ukrainska Pravda" also published a video of the incident, which went viral. The pilot would not have had time to parachute out of the plane and would have died in the impact on the ground. The aircraft crashed in the area of Kulinichey.
