Ukrainian conflict: American weapons in Kiev
Possible sending of aircrafts and anti-missile systems in the country; other 500 NATO soldiers in Europe

The Department of Defense of the United States is evaluating the sending of Patriot or Thaad anti-missile systems to the European allies of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO). In addition, Washington has decided to send another 500 soldiers to Germany and Poland, thus bringing to about 100,000 the total number of Atlantic Alliance soldiers deployed along the European-Russian eastern border.
Meanwhile, at the request of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, the US Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, is talking with the governments of Poland and Romania to convince them to send Mikoyan Mig-29 combat aircraft to Ukraine. The risk is the start of unpredictable Russian reprisals against Poland and Romania, which would however get Lockheed Martin F-16 Fighting Falcon aircraft in return.
In the US Congress, Republicans and Democrats have come to an agreement on banning products derived from Russian oil (7% of the sector's import). The bill will have to be approved by the House and Senate. The damage for Moscow would be, it is estimated, around 30 billion dollars.
