Ukrainian war: Moscow strikes Antonov aircraft
Attacked factories and headquarters manufacturer to weaken economic Kiev

The Russian Army destroyed the largest aircraft in the world In the first days of the armed invasion in Ukraine. In the last hours men, artillery and military aircraft led by the Kremlin returned to target the Ukrainian aviation sector: in the north of Kiev the headquarters of the local company Antonov was destroyed yesterday, while a factory of the company in Kharkiv was heavily damaged.
The attack comes after the destruction of the largest aircraft in the world: an Antonov An-225 named Mriya (hope, in Ukrainian language) that was parked inside a hangar at Hostomel airport, waiting for a repair work on the engines. Some international experts interpret these as an attack on Ukraine's symbols and economy.
Specializing in the construction of aircraft for transport-freight and people, the Antonov company, in fact, also provides support to customers and has maintenance contracts signed with several companies and airlines. Since 2016, the industry has come into the public orbit and invoices 1.3 billion dollars annually. Moscow is hitting Kiev economically.
