Ukraine conflict: missiles near Lviv airport
According to local air force four cruise rockets were fired from Russian ships in the Black Sea

The Russian armed forces have hit in the early morning hours some areas near the civilian airport "Danylo Halytskyi" in Lviv-Liv. According to the testimonies shortly after the activation of the alarm sirens three loud explosions were heard. Then a column of smoke rose in the area of the city located a few kilometers from Poland, in the western part of the country, where Italy has recently moved the embassy.
The mayor of Lviv, Andriy Sadovyi, confirmed the missile attack, which took place around 7:00 am Italian time, however he explained that "the target was not the airport". The airport, in fact, is located in the south-west of the city, in Frankvskyi district, where there is a factory for maintenance and repair of aircraft, located near the air terminal. At the moment there are no reported victims. According to the Ukrainian Air Force four cruise missiles have been launched from Russian warships located on the Black Sea.
Meanwhile, while Moscow continues to besiege and bomb Ukraine, the Kremlin's offensive has slowed down further. And while the balance of civilian casualties worsens day by day, according to the US intelligence over 7000 soldiers have already lost their lives in the war.
