Japan grappling with Russian ships and Chinese drones

The aircraft flew over the disputed Senkaku islands that are causing Beijing and Tokyo to squabble

Japan intercepted some Russian military ships transiting in the north of the country in the last hours and a Chinese spy drone a Gaic BZK-007 operating in the identification zone of the Japanese air defense in the East China Sea. This was revealed in a press release by the Japanese Defense Ministry led by Nobuo Kishi.

According to Tokyo reports, the remotely piloted aircraft was reportedly caught in flight in the skies over the Senkaku Islands, the disputed archipelago that has China and Japan feuding. Once the drone was intercepted by two fighter jets of the Japanese Air Force, it would have reversed course and returned to Beijing.
