Finnair planes take off with Collins seats

Elegance and comfort with new seats, textile and refreshment area on long-haul flights

The first long-haul flights of the Finnish airline Finnair have started with Airbus A-350 and A-330 aircraft equipped with new cabins in Business, Economy and Premium Economy classes. It was announced by the airline, which has invested 200 million euros in, among other things, comfortable seats, developed in collaboration with the company Collins Aerospace.

"Space is today's luxury. We thought long and hard, with attention to detail, to create the best Business Class seat for our customers. Both the seat and the entire airplane experience are focused on comfort, space and customer choice. They are the culmination of our design ethos", said Finnair's Chief Commercial Officer, Ole Orvér

The cabin renovation also covers a new fabric collection, the reimagining of the main entrance to all travel classes and the dining area with its porcelain. It all complements the elegant atmosphere on board. Meanwhile, in the summer of 2022 Finnair plans to serve nearly 100 destinations in Europe, Asia and the United States, including new long-haul routes to Busan (South Korea), Tokyo-Haneda (Japan), Dallas and Seattle (United States).
