Russian conflict: Odessa under attack

Reported with missiles and explosions in the south and east of the country

The Russian armed offensive continued into the night. After the easing of the siege on the capital Kiev, with the withdrawal of soldiers and armored vehicles of Moscow, the attacks are concentrating in the south of Ukraine. The city of Odessa, which overlooks the Black Sea, has been hit in recent hours by a missile, while several explosions were heard late last night at the port. Attacked in these moments also the near Kherson and Mykolaiv.

This has been reported by the British TV station "BBC" and the online newspaper "Pravda Ukraine", citing the local political and military authorities. The Russian Army continues to consolidate and reorganize as their offensive moves into the Donbass region of eastern Ukraine. And the Kremlin is mobilizing an additional 60,000 troops, says the British Guardian newspaper.

Meanwhile, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, speaking at the Grammy Awards ceremony with a recorded message, said: "Help us, but not with silence". He added: "War? What could be more opposed to music? Our musicians put on bulletproof vests instead of tuxedos. They sing for the wounded. In hospitals. Even for those who can't hear them. But the music still manages to break through".
