Biden's phone call with allied countries today
Kicking off at 3:45 pm Italian time videoconference to discuss support for Ukraine
With the start of the arrival in Ukraine of the last tranche of armaments (including armored vehicles and howitzers) worth 800 million dollars, the position of the United States in the Russian-Ukrainian conflict is confirmed to be central. At 3:45 pm Italian time, US President Joe Biden will meet via videoconference with leaders of North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) countries.
"The president will convene a secure video call with allies and partners to discuss our continued support for Ukraine and efforts to hold Russia accountable as part of our close coordination", reads a note released in these hours by the White House. The goal of the virtual meeting is to coordinate action in support of Ukraine.
