Ukraine conflict: USA currency to send tanks

President Joe Biden announcement concerning Bradley Fighting Vehicles

The President of the United States, Joe Biden, said in the past few hours that the executive considered the possibility of sending Bradley fighting vehicles to give military support to the armed forces of Ukraine against the Russian aggressor. A response to Kiev's request to receive Abrams tanks, which Washington does not intend to provide in order not to escalate the conflict.

The Bradley fighting vehicles, built by the British company Bae Systems, is equipped with a powerful 25 mm automatic cannon with 900 rounds and seven anti-tank missiles, equipped with machine guns with 2200 rounds. The vehicle is a staple of the US Army, which has been using it on major battlefields since the mid-1980s.

To date, the United States has sent Kiev about 21.3 billion dollars in humanitarian aid and military supplies. Among the latter we find: shoulder-mounted launchers of Stinger anti-aircraft missiles manufactured by Raytheon; Javelin anti-tank missiles manufactured by Lockheed Martin and Raytheon; Himars (High Mobility Artillery Rocket System) mobile artillery missile systems; Nasams (National Advanced Surface-to-Air Missile System) mobile surface-to-air missile systems.
