ITA Airways: additional frequencies from Paris and Nice to Fiumicino

The carrier continues to invest in the French market

ITA Airways, the Italian flagship carrier, is further highlighting the importance of the French market in its strategy and reinforcing awareness for its brand with a major multi-channel advertising campaign running in Paris through April 16th.

To support the strong France-Italy offer, the communication highlights iconic Italian destinations and will be displayed on digital billboards along the key areas of Paris (a strong presence is planned in business areas, railway and metro stations, main shopping centers) and on the web channel with presence on the most relevant websites and networks of the country.

France is ITA Airways' second largest market after Italy in Europe, and the presence in the French market is supported by the strong connections between Paris –both "Charles De Gaulle" and Orly airports– Rome with the hub of Fiumicino, and Milan with the city airport Linate. Starting from June 1, and throughout the 2023 Summer season the Company is enhancing its offering for the French market, adding additional frequencies on its "Charles De Gaulle"-Fiumicino and Nice–Fiumicino routes. With the launch of additional daily roundtrips from Paris and Nice, in the peak of the 2023 Summer ITA Airways will operate up to 92 weekly frequencies and up to 14 daily roundtrip flights between the two Countries, with connections via the hub in Rome-Fiumicino to the Company’s 64 world destinations, including 10 intercontinental as well as numerous Mediterranean destinations.

In details, the air connection between France and Italy in the heart of the Summer season is ensured with the following schedule:

7 daily roundtrip flights from Paris-"CdG"/Ory to Milan-LIN (from Monday to Friday), 3 daily flights on Saturdays and 5 daily flights on Sundays

4 daily roundtrip ones from Paris-"CdG" to Rome-FCO

3 daily roundtrip flights from Nice to Rome-FCO

The carrier also guarantees the best offer in the market on the Paris-Milan route throughout the day for both business and leisure travellers, that can benefit of a relevant travel alternative to reach two of Europe’s primary financial and cultural hubs.

In 2023, ITA Airways is experiencing a strong organic growth which is supported by strong investments in long-haul routes thanks to a massive fleet expansion plan. This will include the phase in of 33 new aircraft by the end of this year: 25 aircraft for the short and medium haul and 8 for the long haul.

One of the main pillars of its growth strategy is the commitment to sustainability: the Company aims to become the greenest air carrier in Europe by 2026, courtesy of a modern fleet with state-of-the-art technology. ITA Airways is committed to a CO2 emissions reduction plan, including the renewal of its fleet, which will feature 80% new generation aircraft by 2026, with the consequent downscaling of 1.3 million tons of CO2 emissions.
