This is a supply that is part of the initiatives of NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization). "The delivery process of these combat aircraft is closely coordinated with the Polish side, with Ukraine and, of course, with other allies", said Prime Minister Eduard Heger a month ago.

All 13 Mig-29 fighters promised to Ukraine have been delivered. "Proud to be on the right side, we do the right thing to protect lives. We are next to Ukraine", on reads in the official Twitter profile page of the Slovak Defense Ministry.

In detail, the MiG-29 aircraft sent to Kiev were part of the fleet of the Slovak Armed Forces until last Summer. According to what has been learned, aircraft (about a dozen) are operational and ready for use, while the others will be delivered for use as spare parts.
