Agreement on future helicopter seats

Germany-Greece contract to create more comfortable and safe seats

Signed a collaboration agreement between companies based in Germany and Greece for the design and development of new seats that make flying on board helicopters and eVtols (Electric Vertical Take-Off and Landing aicraft) safer and more comfortable. The contract provides for long-term cooperation in the research and development sector, to identify innovative solutions and draw up technical documentation.

"This will enable us to develop products cost-effectively and on time that will have a great positive impact on the aviation industry. This cooperation allows us to effectively implement current and future projects and puts us in a strong position to compete globally", said Alkiviadis Thomas, CEO of the German Althom Group.

The agreement was signed by the German companies Autoflug, specialized in the field of aeronautical and military technology, and Althom, as well as by the Greek division Althom Engineering, which deal with technical engineering and publishing as well as project management services. The cooperation between the partners existed since 2019.
