DEFENCE CHIEFS TO SHUT RAF HELICOPTER BASE
LONDRA, British Defence Ministry will shut Raf Odiham's Chinook base in a spending review. The decision will be announced in autumn in a razionalization plan. The three Chinook squadrons will be transferred to the naval base of Yeovilton, Somerset. The base will be sold and MoD expects to raise £500 million.
