The first Israeli female pilot has died

Tel Aviv, Israel - Her name was Yael Rom and she was 74

Yael Rom was the name of one of the very first women to join and end a pilot course in a Western Country and then to be engaged in combat operations. She was surely the first Israeli female pilot, both for the Air Force (as a Lieutenant) and for civil aviation. Rom died yesterday at 74 years of age, after spending most of her life piloting seven types of aircraft.
