INTELSAT LAUNCHED INTO ORBIT

FRENCH GUIANA, The Ariane-4 rocket launched into orbit the second in a new series of INTELSAT satellites this morning from the European Space Agency launch center in Kourou, French Guiana. The INTELSAT 902 will provide telecommunications and television broadcasting to Europe, sub-Saharan Africa, Central Asia, the Far East and Australia.
