LOCKHEED MARTIN AND TRW WIN USAF CONTRACT

WASHINGTON, Lockheed Martin and TRW have been awarded a $2,7 bn deal to develop next generation communications satellite system. The new system, named Advanced Extremely High Frequency, will employ the world's most sophisticated satellites designed to withstand jamming attempts.
