Vancouver, Canada - The Cormorant is made by a British-Italian consortium
The first of Canada's new search and rescue helicopters officially went into service in Vancouver. The Cormorant chopper is the first to enter service of an eventual fleet of 15 helicopters being made for Canada by a British-Italian consortium at a cost of almost USD 1bn.
